Look For Less: Britney Spears

Top (Bodysuit) - Chiara £ 12.95, Skirt - JCPenney, Liz Claiborne $25, Belt - Make Me Chic  $8, Earrings - Forever 21 $4.80, Necklace - Nordstrom Dogeared $66

Lucky Magazine is getting a lot of attention for this cover photo of Britney Spears. But beyond the controversy, there is a common view about one thing - that is a cute outfit on the pop-princess. We re-created the look for you using affordable pieces found online or in a store near you.

The sheer polka-dot top is flirty without revealing too much. By adding a longer pencil skirt in the same fun red, this outfit can transition holiday party to work event with the addition of a blazer or cardigan. The pink bow belt is trendy and could easily be swapped out for a basic black or metallic belt. The jewelry is kept simple and understated.

Stand-out Outerwear

It seems the rainy season is here to stay. We had a beautiful extended Summer full of feminine outfits, but now it is time to bundle up to protect from the elements. However, in a city like Seattle, where we wear some sort of jacket 3/4 of year, we should embrace coats that are just as beautiful as the clothing underneath.

Emerald green is a bold color and such an eye catcher.
