I have heard that shopping vintage will one of a kind pieces to my wardrobe but I can't seem to find the time or Patience to go and search through racks of clothing to find the perfect piece. What do you suggest I do?

Dear Vintage Venting in Seattle,

I have the perfect solution. Personally, I enjoy looking through racks of clothing but I did some hunting for the top spots to do your vintage shopping online from your desk! There are many consignment shops sprouting up everywhere and some have user friendly, and with great pictures and search tools, and other sites are as much of a hassle as going into the store.

Here are my top vintage/consignment sights to make your search a little easier:

1. http://www.decadestwo.com/ : My favorite of ALL the sights I went to. They not only have a blog, wearable clothing, and great pictures, they really take care of their clients. Before purchasing, write to them so they can get to know you and your likes. Create a relationship with the owners to make shopping less stressful. Online Sales are final so make sure you get all your questions answered before purchasing.

2. http://www.lefrockonline.com/ : A local consignment shop that carries some pieces online also. This is best if you see a piece and want to try it on before purchasing. Don't shy away from talking to sales associates at these stores. They know the pieces they carry and if there is a sample of a design you like, they can certainly help you find more so you don't have to search the racks.

3. http://www.cmadeleines.com/ : This site offers rare designs and they have a huge gallery of clothing to check out. This spot is based in Miami and is known as one of the fashion wonders of the world.
