What's Black & White and Trending All Over?

What makes black and white especially enticing, is the idea that it doesn't require a great deal of commitment or extra money out of your pocket. Everyone has at least one good solid black and solid white piece in their wardrobe, right? Also, its more classic then it is trendy so wearers won't run into the problem of feeling as though they are buying into a fad that has a designated expiration date. The twosome is an oldie, but a goodie and it is arguable the biggest trend of the upcoming fall season.

There is an endless amount of possibilities on how to wear this monochrome look. You can keep it simple by color blocking with solid separates or experiment with fun prints and patterns.

Color blocking with solid separate pieces is easy and effective. This type of look is like a canvas waiting for you to personalize it, add some bold accessories and even a red lip!

This look is taking your basic stripes to another level of chic and sophistication! If you are a fan of stripes, try out this tuxedo stripe pant for a bit of edge.

Black and white patterned dresses are an excellent way to add some dimension to your wardrobe. Patterns can be a fun way to freshen up your look.

Try wearing black and white accessories. A great pair of white heels with a LBD or even some black and white bangles!

Birthday Celebration

-{The packaging to this YUME bracelet was so beautiful, I waited 24 hours to open it}-

This had to be my absolute favorite birthday celebration. The house was filled with close friends, I got to BBQ in high heels, and everyone brought me flowers. One of my gifts was a gift bag filled with products by TATCHA. I am addicted and haven't even used the products for a week. The packaging is amazing and made the beauty essentials feel 3x more special. I have been inspired to update packaging to my own business products.

Which print pant is right for you?

Feeling a little adventurous this summer? Printed pants are the hottest trend. They are colorful, playful, and easy to adapt with even the most basic wardrobe.

BRIGHT

How I love the fun of  mixing and matching colors! The top with the orange applique is unexpected but adds a nice detail to the overall look.

CLASSIC
A black and white neutral pant is a great first print pant. It makes it easier to wear any solid colored top you like. Here, the yellow and beige make this outfit look like a Ralph Lauren meets J. Crew ensemble.

EDGE
For the ladies that like it simple and toned down. Mix grays, blacks, and wear a nice chunky strap heel to keep it cool. These print pants have an ombre coloring for a little something extra to the look.

Soccer Mom Turns into Confident Business Woman

I often get the chance to help a client who is making drastic changes in their lives. Dating after divorce, turning 50, getting a promotion at work, etc. For the first time I got to document the whole process. Naomi came to me with the intention to dress the part for her new life. She had her dream house, changed careers, went back to school, and was starting her own business. The only one component missing was dressing the part and really feeling good about herself.

Watch the video and hear how she feels during the whole process from changing her hair, showing her how to apply make-up, and getting new outfits that let her shine.
