It's all in the details

-{Sugar cookies that are chic and decadent}-

I have taken time to listen, really appreciate and enjoy what I eat, what I see, and what I do. It's always the little things in life that make the difference. The packaging to a delicious dessert, the appetizer before the meal, even the coffee we drink to start off our day. When I was in the waiting room waiting to go on set of Q13, I began to feel nervous. Just I began to remind myself, "This is what I've been waiting for, I know exactly what I'm talking about",  it then all became clear. It's not just the big moments, but the experience and details that lead up to each milestone that really make life worthwhile.

-{I just couldn't wait for the entree. The food was authentic, the service was excellent, couldn't have asked for more}-

-{My time to give advice to women about online shopping on Q13}-

-{We just bought an espresso machine, but nothing tastes better than coffee from a local cafe}-

-{Franco Sarto's interpreter helped me communicate my thoughts. I own a suede high heeled, platform boot and they are the ONLY pair my bunions can handle}-

Signature Style: Business Casual

Business casual for some means black pants paired with a black blazer and black heels. I was determined to show a group of professionals that this does not always have to be the case. Here are four fabulous business casual looks that are stylish yet office appropriate.

Ann Taylor Purple Cowl Neck Top $48
Ann Taylor Denim: Modern Fit Trouser Leg $88

A good alternative to Casual Fridays is wearing a trouser cut denim. Everyone in the office will be asking you where you purchased them!

Ann Taylor Metallic Animal Print Top $78
Ann Taylor Grey Trouser $38.99

This blouse adds glamour to a neutral colored trouser pant. For warmth, simply add a pastel colored cardigan in mint, coral, or lavender.

Ann Taylor Blue Silk Button Up $118
Ann Taylor Black Stretch Cropped Pant $88
Kendra Scott Gold Necklace Nordstrom $69.99

What I love about this silk button up is that it skims the body just right and doesn't look or feel restrictive like the cotton button ups you would normally think to wear to work. These black pants add an ultra modern take to a trouser cut, black pant.

Jessica Simpson Bold Pattern Dress Nordstrom $128
Gibson Black Blazer Nordstrom $88
All Outfits: Shoes Vince Camuto Nordstrom $88

There is nothing more chic and beautiful than a dress. It is effortless and feminine. To make it business appropriate throw a soft blazer over the look and to tone down the color and print.

Wave of Pastels

-{Asymmetrical floral chandelier necklace for the bold}-

It seems pastels have made their way back into fashion and I am spotting corals, seafoam greens, and aqua blues everywhere I look. The past two weeks I've had a wave of big opportunites that have come my way, reaching a high in clients I've worked with, being on local television for the first time, and partnering with a new dating company to expand my services to men. During this big rush, I have also learned to appreciate my down time and making it a priority to create set hours for my business (although, I swear I can work 24/7). Life is like a wave with  highs and lows, right now I am riding the wave and enjoying it as long as it is here to stay.

-{Flat sandals I wouldn't mind wearing everywhere I go}-

-{Glassware to use as the centerpiece of a grand table}-

-{The right dress to add fullness to the chest and create curves on a straight figure}-

-{Rose champagne cupcake to finish off a long week}-

Treasure Hunt

-Alexis Bittar crystal encrusted earrings. Love at first sight!-

I love the hunt of the perfect pieces for clients, for myself, and to satisfy my curiosity. I know the piece is "the one" when it catches my eye, I know the dessert is worthy enough to eat if craving grows as I look at it, and I can't help but walk towards a bright color that stands out on the rack.
Get in touch with what attracts you, don't double guess yourself.

Spring Inspired Home Decor

-Chandeliers add elegance and class to a closet or bedroom-

65 years old and absolutely chic! Sometimes when I go into a woman's home I find that they not only take good care of themselves (by splurging on one investment piece a season) they also appreciate beauty in the arts, and their home.

Inspiration comes from all kinds of people I meet, places I see, and things I eat.

- Hounds-tooth gift wrapping paper, fashion inspired-

-Oxidized silver, good for the home, good for casual jewelry-

-Floral prints are all over spring runways. Add life to your room with fresh flowers-

-The queen of quilt and pastel colors, Coco Chanel-
