There is nothing sweeter than love, more romantic than a first kiss, or more royal than your wedding. During this season, I get a little nostalgic about my own wedding. I fall in love all over again, find inspiration in the most current chic flicks, and can't help but reach out at pieces that sparkle. Maybe I get so caught up in work during this time because I never got to experience a huge wedding like I always dreamed. My job is to search for every perfect piece to make the bride feel like the most important person in the world.

Calming colors for busy days

-{I've been searching for the perfect coin purse and finally found it!}-

Living to the extreme isn't always a good way to live. You don't want to overindulge in your favorite ice cream every day or go out with your girlfriends every night, you'd get sick and exhausted! I have reached my limit; the past few weeks have been over booked (not complaining but I am working on scheduling only a max. amount of clients a week), two new partnerships have been started, and I have been doing paperwork and answering emails any free time I have (including the middle of the night). There is nothing I would rather do than be a business owner and stylist, but I finally came to the realization that I need a more balanced life.
The pieces I have been drawn too lately are saturated in color. I have shied away from jewel tones, bright neons, and loud prints. Right now I am wearing and gravitating towards corals, pale yellows, more natural hues. Here's to a week of learning to manage my love for fashion and my life outside of work, trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds!

I have taken time to listen, really appreciate and enjoy what I eat, what I see, and what I do. It's always the little things in life that make the difference. The packaging to a delicious dessert, the appetizer before the meal, even the coffee we drink to start off our day. When I was in the waiting room waiting to go on set of Q13, I began to feel nervous. Just I began to remind myself, "This is what I've been waiting for, I know exactly what I'm talking about",  it then all became clear. It's not just the big moments, but the experience and details that lead up to each milestone that really make life worthwhile.

Wave of Pastels

It seems pastels have made their way back into fashion and I am spotting corals, seafoam greens, and aqua blues everywhere I look. The past two weeks I've had a wave of big opportunites that have come my way, reaching a high in clients I've worked with, being on local television for the first time, and partnering with a new dating company to expand my services to men. During this big rush, I have also learned to appreciate my down time and making it a priority to create set hours for my business (although, I swear I can work 24/7). Life is like a wave with  highs and lows, right now I am riding the wave and enjoying it as long as it is here to stay.
